Jeff Mao is the Learning Technology Policy Director for the Maine Department of Education. He provides vision and oversight to Maine’s education technology programmes, including the Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI).

Dr Julian Dooley is a Senior Research Fellow at the Child Health Promotion Research Centre (CHPRC) at Edith Cowan University. Dr Dooley completed his PhD at Melbourne University and studied aggression and bullying behaviours after traumatic brain injury. In addition, he developed a new video-based task that enables the measurement of the cognitive and emotional processes the drive aggressive behaviours.

Peter Baines is one of Australia’s pioneering ‘Socialprenuers’ having founded the fastest growing boutique charity in the country, Hands Across the Water. Peter is currently shaking up the charity sector having raised over $2.3 million without spending one cent of donor’s money on administrative costs since its inception four years ago.

This session is designed to explore new ideas and innovative approaches to 1:1 computing and particularly to hear from schools who have recently implemented 1:1 programs. The session will be interactive with opportunities for questions and open discussion.
